If you have ever wanted to have the freedom and flexibility to make a mold that was unique to you and your art, then this is the class for you.

This 3-day workshop will walk you through the basics, and cover the advantages of using SilkeMat (a non-carcinogenic fiber blanket) and SilkeMat Rigidizer to make soft and rigid molds; strong enough to face many many firings.

The 3 glass projects will include a “Jellyfish” and 2 castings. In addition to the molds you make in class, you will also make an organic Slump Mold and an unusual Drop Ring mold to take home.  I also encourage you to bring an item with you that you would like to make a mold from in the future. This is something unique to you. Your project will be discussed in class as the best way to approach the process. This is a great opportunity for questions and problem-solving.

All materials included, $375 to enter. Class is limited to 10 students.
